Duration in Chart:
  • The BEAT100 Music Video Chart runs for 14 days (fortnightly) and is compiled every other Sunday.
  • Videos remain in the chart until they either win a prize or complete two full 14 day chart periods. This means the minimum time in the charts is 28 Days.
  • When your video exists the charts it will remain within the video network for others to view.
  • Only one chart entry per user will be admitted at any one time into the charts.
  • Once your video has finished its time in the chart, you may re-enter the same video as long as you didn’t finish in a prize winning position. However, your votes will be renewed and will not be carried over from your last chart entry.
  • Winners of the BEAT100 Original or Cover Music Video Chart will have 30 days to send in the documentation required by BEAT100, or the prize will be forfeited.
If a video has less than 20 real votes in 20 days, it will be automatically removed from the chart daily.  Promote your video to your friends and fans across various social networks to avoid this removal.

Please note: Artists may only enter the music charts if they are over the age of 14. Parents or guardians may monitor these accounts, but cannot enter the chart in place of someone who is under the age of 14.

BEAT100 is the social network for musicians and music fans

GET VOTING - make sure your fans know that they can vote on your video once every 24 hours! Making sure your fans vote daily really boosts your numbers quickly. And did you know you can vote on your own video? It may only be one extra vote a day, but that can make all the difference.

GET CONNECTED - If you've got followers on other social networks, why not create a group or event page encouraging them to vote for your video every day. Get them talking and connecting with one another and encourage them to share your video themselves, widening your exposure.

GET PROMOTING - Fans love feeling close and connected to the artist, so offering them an extra incentive is a great way to get them buzzing about you. Things like a gift or video chat with "the fan who bring the most new fans" to your page, or "who shares your video the most," generates exposure and makes them feel special - it only has to be something small; a thanks or shout out in your next video, signed pictures or a free CD or MP3 download but personal touches make a real difference.

GET SOCIAL - The BEAT100 social network contains everything you need to make new connections, and for you to share and keep up to date with them. BEAT100 isn’t just a great place to bring your friends, family and fans, it’s perfect for finding and making new friends. You are more likely to win if you add new friends on the BEAT100 network rather than expect all your current fans from other networks to vote daily.

GET LIKING - Be sure to like and tweet your video that we share from our BEAT100 Facebook and Twitter pages. This way, new and current users will see and notice your videos more frequently.
