Frederick "Freddie" Bourne is an American singer-songwriter, occassional actor, and keyboard player. He is known for fronting the bands Exit 22 and Sahara from Jackson and Manalapan New Jersey respectively performing at The Stone Pony and The Starland Ballroom. Bourne is the winner of Liberty Idol of 2010 at Jackson Liberty High School, 3rd place finalist of Freehold Idol in 2008, and was a Top 20 finalist in New Jersey Idol in 2012. He is known for his comparisons and looks of Seth Rogen and Jack Black. To his friends, Freddie is known to be the comic relief in his group of friends such as driving on the pick-up of a truck with almost no clothes on, dancing to loud music (not professionally), and his flamboyant personality. He has made multiple appearances in local musicals and dramas in lead and supporting lead roles. He has worked with Tom Browning, Nathan Hall, and Mick Walsh, most famous as the songwriter of The Adventure of Stevie V's hit "Dirty Cash (Money Talks). Bourne is currently a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ.
After performing humorous songs with commentary for his fraternity brothers, he began to take it public by performing in front of the college residents, which perceived Bourne's performance with open arms. Eventually, close friends and fellow brothers Jordan Gulfin and Nick Goydish opted to help Bourne to create a real web show and premier it on YouTube. Before the show was going to begin preparations in July 2011, Bourne told the public that the show was terminated as he began to focus on the his music career, thus devoting his time in the studio to record his material.
Bourne's debut album "Up" will be released sometime in 2012. Bourne notes that it will be a mixture of original material ranging from experimental pop-rock, soul/folk, and acoustic power ballads and piano-pop driven covers.
