BEAT100 is incredibly pleased to report the huge developments that have been going on with the BEAT100 music, entertainment and social network. Over the last two months we’ve invested a staggering £500,000 in improving the website for unsigned bands and users. We’ve been radically overhauling the site to improve user experience and adding a whole heap of new and exciting features.
BEAT100 is already making a huge name for itself as the best place on the web to hear new bands, socialise and see the best entertainment videos; and it’s been great to see the successes of the site and the huge growth in fans and bands making their way to our network!
The £500,000 we’ve invested into the social network has helped shoot forward our developments dramatically; allowing us to improve the video and entertainment network, develop better messaging and social tools, release the new entertainment charts, a forthcoming app and a mobile ready version of the website!
On the BEAT100 website itself we’ve redesigned the user interface and we’re bringing back the entertainment charts to all their former glory. Thanks to the investment we’re now able to offer users the best new music and the best entertainment and lifestyle videos available anywhere in the world. From the first of July users are going to be able to upload their entertainment and lifestyle movies and clips to be in with a chance to share in a $1000 monthly cash prize pool.
For smartphone users we’ve released a mobile version of the website that allows you to enjoy all the great entertainment on offer from anywhere in the world. It also offers users a live chat system and instant messaging. It’s been great to allow more and more users to access the site and we’ve seen a huge increase in visitors, votes for music videos.
For iPhone users we’ve been working on a, soon to be released, free app that will allow anyone to gain direct access to the network. It lets you watch the latest videos, vote for bands and music, update your status, chat and send messages from anywhere in the world whenever you want. You can receive updates directly to your phone and stay connected from anywhere in the world – for free!
If that wasn’t enough, we’ve also been using this fantastic investment to continue our campaign to promote the best new music from around the world. To that end we’ve been investing in live events throughout the country to help create an incredible new platform for live music and for new bands. Our latest event in London attracted thousands of attendees and we the chance to showcase some incredible talent.
