  First place this week is Shane Board, from the UK, with his original song, “Believe”, a charity single released with the intention of raising money for research to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes, With 100% of Shane's cash prize of $400 being handed over to a charity set up by his mum, it's a cause very close to Shane's heart. At the age of 11, Shane was diagnosed with the condition himself, also known as 'Juvenile Diabetes', which lead to his mother, Iris, setting up the charity, 'Pop 4 Diabetes', formed with the aim of raising money for global charity, JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), and Diabetes UK.
