The Reverent Souls was founded in December 2011 after Jan Henrik & Ørjan met during a concert. It was exchanged ideas and thoughts for the music they love, and there was no turning back. Their background in childhood makes it easy for them to relate to the music, and it helps that Ørjan has an incredible talent for writing lyrics. The band has had some changes already in terms of crew, but in no way put the band back in terms of ambition, rather the opposite. The band has already managed to be in the studio three times, released an EP with title "Give With Your Heart" which is available on iTunes, Wimp, Spotify and other streaming channels online. This is also for sale in hard copy from www.thereverentsouls.com. Their debut EP was well received in the local newspaper Stavanger Aftenblad with five dice. EP was also reviewed in BlackMoon Magazine and received good feedback, seven out of ten stars were definitive. Band members of The reverent Souls has a varied background of music, from classical to death / black metal. This allows the music of The Reverent Souls to flows into all kind of genres. The Reverent Souls just released there first music video for the single "Broken Youth" and is available for viewing on Youtube. A full-lengths are also in the works and will most likely be ready in summer 2013.
